Starlord in the First Guardians is one of my favorite because at first you think your getting the ultra masculine thing and instead you get a total goofball just having a great time. And my favorite female intro has to be Aeryn Sun from Farscape (although that is TV not a movie). Her being tough and maybe someone to be wary of is introduced first and then her beauty only to jump back to how strong she is. Instantly made me want to know everything about her.

I get that this was just a promotion for Bad Boys in the end, but you could have made some mention of the fact that the buddy cop genre is, to this day, incredibly lacking in women. Hell, of the 20 buddies that ultimately made your list, 18 were men, one was a dog and one was a cartoon rabbit.

I can see why the whole hamster ball sequence was actually cut from the movie script - it's a whole 'nother action sequence with multiple moving parts. Putting the budget for the multi-tiered sequence aside, from the standpoint of the audience, the movie is already running out of steam before Malcolm's daughter does gymnastics. Throw another "van over cliff" level action sequence at that point in the movie, people would be exhausted and mentally check out of the movie. It's just too much. Hence...gymnastics.

massive talent is as bad as you guess - Cage comedy - dogpile of shit. And RRR review reminded me to trust my judjement - I expected some surprising quality, what I got was high production value same old indian horseshit. I can understan them being movies scertain people like, but best movies? I guess our math is different - some people think good picture adds value to the whole regardless of everything else, I think this judjement is shallow, I think if you put some shit into the meal you get bigger pice of shit - you wasted other peoples time and effort, you made more shit as a result.

Oddly enough, I feel like the Full Metal Jacket scene could be compared to the ending of Welcome to the Dollhouse. It's hard to really describe but if you know the scene, it's shocking how similar they are.
